Futher evidence that I watch too much TV...

Not that I needed proof or anything, but I watch too much TV. Whilst home sick for a couple of days, I had the most amazing series of dreams, all featuring my life as a Gilmore Girl. Weird. Of all the shows I watch on a regular basis, I had to go and choose this one to base my dream life on. Other than that, the dreams mostly faded quickly from view during my sickbed stage, with the exception of one episode where someone treated me very poorly in a grocery store, causing me to cry, and another one where I was living in the world's most poorly-designed house--the stairway to the bedrooms was located over the bathroom sink. It was like living in a motorhome, where all the "conveniences" are inconveniently located. I says again: Weird.

What else is going on? Lots of reality television (sadly), and very little reading. It's a lot easier to mindlessly gaze at the TV when ill instead of trying to wrap one's head around literature, so not a lot to report there. I have a large stack of novels loaned to me by very nice people at work that I have to read before I can buy any new books. Most recent additions to that stack are The Corrections, and I am Charlotte...Whatever. Two big monsters, helping me to keep my book buying addiction to a minimum.

Here are a few links to keep you going until next we meet:

This must be just like living in paradise...

Another day, another $1.95. Discovered last night that my condo's walls aren't quite as thick as I thought they were, as my upstairs neighbour broke a months-long sexual fast. I have to tell you, it was a virtuoso performance - I wanted to applaud the technique. It certainly had an impact on the dreams of the night, but I don't think I want to commit any of them to e-paper.

Found a whole bunch of lottery tickets that I haven't checked yet. I may already be a winner! Uh huh... I'll keep you posted.

Got to work only to discover that I'd worn my shirt to work inside out. Thank God it's winter and I had an excuse to cover the shame with a parka. Fortunately, I made the discovery before anyone at work (Mick!) noticed.

Had yet another encounter with a merge-virgin this morning, which is unusual. Normally, I don't see these folks during rush hour - they tend to emerge after the morning rush. This doofus had come to a complete stop in the merge lane, blocking traffic, and I nearly had to stop myself in order to let him in. Regular rush-hour drivers know enough to signal, commit, and go and trust that other drivers will merely shake a finger at them. This guy left me shaking my head, and it was entirely too early for that sort of behaviour.

Tonight is the finale for Amazing Race. I'll be watching and contributing my snarky commentary on Wednesday. If it's any good, I'll share it here. Otherwise, I'll only bore my co-workers with it.

Watched Medium again last night. Excellent show. It's really turning into one of my favourite shows of the season--right up there with Lost. Lost is hard to get into if you haven't watched it so far (although they've been helpfully showing lots of reruns lately), but Medium can be enjoyed even if you haven't seen any previous shows.

The princess is home! Max the Wonderdog is feeling much better and was happy to come home from the vet.

I think I'll wrap this up here...
